We’ve discovered a brilliant place in Cornwall called the St Moritz Hotel. It’s in a little place called Trebetherick and it sits right up on top of a hill looking out at the sea. It looks a bit like a big white boat, really, and we just love it here. Once you’ve discovered how much there is to do here you’ll want to come back again and again and again!

If you come here in the school holidays we not only get to stay in one of the hotel’s amazing king or twin rooms, but we also get to enjoy activities at the awsome wavehunters surf school.
This is the best bit! If you’re over 7* then every day you can get away from all the boring big people and head down to the awesome Wavehunters Surf School where they dream up a whole host of fun-tastic things for us to do on Polzeath Beach. They’ll get you out on the waves and surfing which, believe us, is awesome!
Sometimes our parents forget that we get fed up just sitting around while they read the paper. But we don’t need to be bored just because they’re being boring, even if it’s raining. There’s loads to do at the St Moritz Hotel, in fact, it’s a bit like going on a treasure hunt – you never know what you’ll find next. They’ve got an amazing outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a special Mini Moritz room just for kids to hang out in and watch movies and play games. Sometimes we’re having so much fun there that Mum and Dad have to drag us out!

There are loads of amazing beaches near the St Moritz Hotel, and each one is totally different. We love watching the surfers down at Polzeath, and then pulling on wetsuits to have a go ourselves with the Wavehunter - it’s harder than it looks!
Daymer Bay doesn’t have much surf, but it’s great for swimming, windsurfing, boating or canoeing. There’s also loads and loads of space to run around in or play beach cricket or football, or whatever you feel like. Mums and dads are happy to lie on the beach here while we have our own adventures – and that’s just the way we like it.
The St Moritz Hotel is right above Greenaway which we think is the best beach in the world. If you grab yourself a crabbing net and some buckets, you can be there all day rockpooling! Our tip is to go at the lowest of low tides – it rocks for sure! Check out this fun guide that helps you find as many treasures as possible!

Here at the hotel they treat us Mini Moritzers like proper adults and kids’ tea here is definitely a super supper. No soggy chips and rubbish fish fingers for us thank you very much. Here they make us proper adult food in kiddy form – its delicious! (and its healthy so it makes mummy happy.. hehe)
Everyone loves a cocktail, and here at the St Moritz Hotel they’ve come up with some special cocktails, just for us kids. When they see what we’re having, we bet our parents will want one too! The Mini Moritz cocktails look so good, we want to try them all.
